What To Expect

Secure care that travels with your schedule

Telehealth can make consistent therapy more workable when your days are full, transportation is difficult or you simply value meeting from familiar surroundings.

For adults across New York, secure video can create a steady place for therapy without adding travel to the day. You can join from home or another private setting where you are able to speak freely. The format changes the commute, not the attention we give to the work.

Sessions take place through a secure video platform. You need a reliable connection and a private setting where you can talk comfortably.

How We Work

Location matters for licensure

You must be physically located in New York during each session. This is true even if you live in New York and are temporarily traveling elsewhere.

Your location during the appointment is what matters. Before joining, choose a private place in New York and make sure you have a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone. A reliable internet connection helps the conversation remain consistent. Headphones may provide more privacy when other people are nearby.

If you expect to travel, tell me before the session so we can plan appropriately.

More about this

Sessions can also take place while you are in Massachusetts. If you are outside Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, I will help point you toward a directory where you can find a clinician licensed in your location.

How We Work

Practical therapy from a familiar place

Telehealth can support the same focused individual work described throughout this site. We may clarify what is happening, identify a pattern and connect insight to an action you can use in daily life. Depending on your goals, I may draw from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT skills and solution-focused work.

I work with adults facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use and addiction, stress and burnout, OCD and ADHD. Our sessions are direct and collaborative. You bring your experience and priorities. I bring clinical perspective, practical tools and questions that help us decide what deserves attention first.

A free consultation is a straightforward first step. You can describe what brings you to therapy, ask how secure video sessions work and decide whether my approach feels like a good fit. If we decide to work together, you can request an appointment through the secure client portal.
